It is a requirement of the Safe Beauty Association that all members have valid public liability insurance. The Association is about promoting SAFE BEAUTY and it is the responsibility of every professional to work with the right tools of the trade. By protecting yourself, you are also protecting your client. It demonstrates that you take your craft seriously and that you are serious about providing a professional service. If you are a business owner, you should have in place various business insurances from public liability to employee insurance.

Public liability insurance |
To complete your application to the Safe Beauty Association, you will be required to provide proof of your current public liability insurance including the name of the insurer, policy number and expiry date. This will be checked during your application process and you wil required to keep your public liability insurance uptodate during your annual membership. We reserve the right to cancel your membership if you do not adhere to the membership's terms and conditions. |
The SBA recommends that your professional kit, whether makeup, beauty or special effects is insured appropriately. If you were on a shoot or attending to a client on a home visit and your kit was damaged or stolen, could you afford to replace it that week in order to continue to work and keep the money coming in? Think about it?
Remember, you must have public liability insurance to be a member of the Safe Beauty Association.
