Besides buying the fun and sexy “products”, every makeup artist needs a supply of professional-quality, single use and disposable mascara wands, brushes and applicators.  Otherwise, it’s double dipping and potential infection of your clients.

What’s the difference between a “disposable” wand or applicator/brush and a “single use” brush or applicator?

Disposable” – means use it once, one loading and into the bin, no double dipping.  For example mascara wands and liquid eye liners.

“Single use” – a brush or applicator that can be reused AFTER being sanitised.  Still no double dipping.  Makeup brushes are usually good quality and with a feral (see article about brushes).  After one use, put aside into a clearly marked “dirty” brush/applicator bag/bin and wash before reusing and also include essentials tools such as plastic and metal spatulas for decanting.
