What sectors of the industry do you want to work in?

There are many different areas of the industry you can choose to develop your career.  Some are similar and some are quite different and require specialist training.  Some routes to those sectors take more training and more hard work, so be prepared for hard work and dedication.  It takes commitment and many makeup artists complete training and simple drop out.  Why you must ask yourself?

You may not know at this point, what areas of the industry you wish to work in. That’s quite normal and to be expected.  You may think you want to work in the high octane filled area of runway/catwalk, but perhaps your skills and personality won’t be best suited.  Perhaps film and special effects is your creative outlet or you simply want to work part time with brides in your area.
