Antonia HawkeANTONIA HAWKE, Founder and CEO Safe Beauty Association
Over two years of careful preparation has culminated in the launch of Antonia Hawke’s vision and catalyst for a new age in professional beauty practice - the Safe Beauty Association.  “I am happy to lead the revolution and I am as passionate as I am determined to make a difference to the beauty industry.”

Antonia is a successful international marketeer, entrepreneur and businesswoman with over 20 years experience in management, marketing and advertising for luxury brands and services. Whilst at top of her game, Antonia made the life-changing decision to ‘try something new’.

A love of creativity and fashion inspired Antonia to train as a professional makeup artist at one of London’s top makeup schools. Upon graduating, Antonia made the leap from student to practitioner to experience the trade - behind the scenes.  It was this glimpse into the industry that was to inspire the formation of the Safe Beauty Association and its ‘Hidden Truth. Safe Beauty’ Campaign with health and hygiene at its core.

The quest for perfect skin is of course due to inherited DNA but also skincare and safe hygiene practices add their contribution. Beauty, self-esteem and confidence are interlinked.  Educating audiences how to make cosmetics safe, hygienic and effectively reduce bacteria in cosmetics and subsequently upon the skin will help people get closer to the aspiration of flawless skin and if I can help people achieve that and build their self-esteem in that process then I can think of no better reason to be a professional makeup artist. To that effect I am proud to support the Safe Beauty Association cause.'
